Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform diverse administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, returning calls, handling mail, distributing vouchers, scheduling inspections, etc.
  • Have an ability to provide exceptional customer service to a diverse population of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop knowledge regarding Housing program rules through state and federal guidelines
  • Assist with applications based on state and federal rules and assist in delivering eligibility determinations to clients.
  • Maintain various records and databases
  • Perform various data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Details:

  • Payrate: $22-$24/hr. (DOE)
  • Temp to Hire opportunity
  • Schedule: 8: 30am-5: 00pm (Monday Friday)
  • 100% onsite Renton, WA (free, onsite parking available)

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience within a general office or administrative support role
  • At least 1+ years of records or filing experience
  • Experience and commitment to providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely response and positive interactions.
  • Ability to show a high level of empathy to others
  • Ability to diffuse and escalate customer inquired, when needed
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to work in proprietary database systems
  • Clearly and effectively communicates both verbally and in writing by actively listening and sharing relevant information.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, ensuring accuracy, multi-tasking, and handling interruptions appropriately; ensures assignments are completed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively and positively with individuals of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team; interacts effectively with others to establish and maintain smooth working relationships.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively while reflecting; will question and search for answers and meaning; evaluates ideas and information and develops ideas that lead to action.
