Our Client, a healthcare and insurance provider in Renton, has an open position for a Call Center Representative to work in their Nurse Consulting Department! While this is a temporary position, it will give a motivated and amazing candidate the opportunity to get their foot in the door of a great company!

While most of this position will require strong customer service skills, you will be working in their EPIC portal, so you will need some computer skills! Candidates that have good critical thinking skills will go far in this role!

This position is a 4 month temporary assignment with a weekly schedule of Mon - Fri 1: 00 PM - 9: 30 PM.
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Description:
  • Answer telephones
  • Set appointments and manage appointment schedule
  • Process referrals
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance coverage
  • Obtain prior authorization for services
  • Complete registrations and enter service data
  • Ensure billing requirements of various payers
  • Provide fee estimates to patients for medical services

Job Requirements:

  • Prior Healthcare experience
  • Experience using EPIC Practice Management (preferred, not required)
  • Experience working in a call center or insurance/medical reception
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Part of the hiring process will be a standardized drugs of abuse screen that includes Marijuana, THC, and CBD as disqualifiers. Candidates will also need to pass a background check.
