Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Work jointly with the Chef to help with ordering, storage, prep / assembly, and service of meals for employees (Breakfast AND Lunch), guests, clients
- Help maintain a clean kitchen and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Participate in preparation and service for sales meetings and food tastings
- Coordinate food inventory, complete and submit weekly food orders, and assist with receipt of food delivery
- Organize storage of food in refrigerator, freezer and dry storage
- Interact with Delivery personnel, internal company employees and managers, and Client Vendors or Prospects in a professional and knowledgeable manner
Job Information:
- Location: Issaquah, WA (100% onsite)
- Salary: $50, 000-$65, 000 per year
- Working Hours: 6: 30AM-3: 00PM
- Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire for highly experienced candidates
Candidate Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant cooking, hotel, hospital or in an institutional setting
- Preferred SERVESAFE Certification or successfully completed a sanitation course in the last 12 months
- Current food handlers card and other certifications as required by federal and state local laws
- Associate s degree in hotel or institutional food preparation preferred
- Proven ability to be dependable, organized, and prioritize work while maintaining a schedule
- Previous work history that demonstrates ability to take direction well - and work collaboratively as well as independently
- Upbeat personality with ability to develop relationships with staff, vendors, and suppliers
- High level of commitment to customer service
