We are looking for a Community Association Manager who can own a portfolio within a specified region and implement strategic goals and objectives, while maintaining daily oversight of operational activities for approximately 10 properties / condominium communities.

Our client is a Property Management company established in 1987 who serves clients primarily in WA and Oregon with Headquarters located in the Seattle / Tacoma Region. They pride themselves on being strategically positioned to provide a wide variety of services to a diverse base of domestic and international clients.

This is a critical role to helping them meet their business goals and the Duties and Responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and consulting for best practices for management and oversight of assigned portfolio
Provide customer services to owners and residents via telephone, email or in person support.
Work with Board members, contractors, vendors, and homeowners as needed.
Conduct onsite inspections and oversee work done by 3rd party vendors and to enforce rules and regulations of the community. Manage onsite staff and guide/direct activities.
Prepare agenda, attend and help drive the conversations during monthly board meetings for each property.
Track and follow up on agreed next steps after Board meetings and report progress the following month
Manage 3rd party vendors; obtain bids for cost effectiveness; interview; hire/fire as needed.
Advise HOA Assistant of letters to be sent for violations and/or at request of Board.
Create budgets, to include expenses, payroll and community improvements.
Work with accounting team to ensure expenses are coded correctly and monthly financials are up to date
Approve payments for AP as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

  • 3 years' experience with HOA management.
  • Previous Property Manager experience with a proven track record of being able to efficiently and effectively oversee multiple properties.
  • CAI or CMCA Certification preferred.
  • Above average organizational skills with ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on several projects at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - including the ability to help write newsletters

  • Work well independently or as part of a team.
  • Driven Self-starter.

Office Location: Federal Way
Work Hours: Very Flexible Schedule to include evening work and on-call for emergencies on weekends
Driving and Travel Requirements - primarily throughout South King and Pierce Counties
Immediate Direct Hire Opportunity
Pay $48K - $55K DOE
