About the Opportunity
Are you an excellent Data Entry professional that is enthusiastic about Human Resources? If you are looking to unite these two passions - take a look at this exciting opportunity to support a high-impact HR team!

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Acts as second point of contact for employees by responding to inquiries regarding personnel action forms, new hire paperwork, internal transfers, pay and benefits questions, or other employee concerns

  • Processes and reviews all Personnel Actions in HRIS (Lawson and ImageNotes)

  • Edits documents from system, and routes to appropriate areas within HR for final resolution

  • Generates and maintains accurate records (such as performance review date changes, direct deposit changes, health and welfare plan eligibility issues, tuition assistance, verification of specialty pay

  • Prepare daily and periodic reports and assist in the implementation of special projects as needed

This 4-8 month assignment is located in Tacoma, WA and pays $21-23 per hour.

About the Candidate We Are Looking For

You will be most successful in this role if you have experience within the following areas: Human Resources, Healthcare, Onboarding, Payroll & Benefits

You must also have the following key qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a Human Resources department, preferably in on-boarding, compensation, benefits or employee data management

  • Highly skilled in Data Entry (both alpha and numeric)

  • Vocational business training or college course work or equivalent experience; AA degree preferred (HR-specific coursework may substitute for experience, year for year)

  • Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and software programs quickly

  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in your daily work to audit and catch discrepancies

  • Working knowledge of Human Resources, employment, payroll, compensation, and benefit practices

  • Proven to be able to work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines, simultaneous priorities and frequent interruptions

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate in a variety of settings and styles; can get messages across that have the most desired effect

  • Can be accountable for your own work and the success of those you support; not afraid to ask questions and take thorough notes

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
