Our Client, a local healthcare provider, is looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to their team! This is an excellent Temp2Hire opportunity with a very well respected Washington employer. In this position you will be handling a wide range of duties from employee relations to investigations to participation in recruitment and hiring.

Successful candidates will have a BA/BS, in Human Resources Management is preferred, their PHR certification and a desire to be a contributor from day one!

Pay: $27 - $35 hour DOE
Length of Assignment: Temp2Hire
Benefits: Included at conversion
Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties:
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints
  • Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Represents the company for any unemployment claims
  • Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation) to the work force
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
  • Interview, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional, technical and supervisory job openings
  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements
  • Responds to all EEOC and/or NLRB charges
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Assures compliance with COBRA insurance premium payments
  • Conducts recruitment sourcing, interviewing, and hiring process by coordinating job posting on web site, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, coordinating interview schedules with hiring manager and reference checks
  • Conducts new hire credentialing process
  • Maintains personnel files and HRIS electronic records
  • Maintain Employee Handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required; Masters preferred
  • Minimum 2 years previous Human Resources Management experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field
  • PHR certification preferred
  • Background in employment law and other goverrnmental compliance regulations is preferred
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have a working knowledge or familiarity with HRIS Systems
