Our client is looking for two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN s) in their Patient Contact Center to provide excellent customer service and patient engagement to low-income and underserved populations in a virtual call center setting. You will be under the direction of an RN Clinical Practice Manager and respond to patients questions about their health status through telephone calls and resolve clinical questions, help patients navigate the Providers technology system, and provide consistent and accurate information that helps to advance patient care and understanding.
Job Duties:
* Provide clinical support via phone from the Patient Contact Center
* Handle a high volume of calls from patients
* Document each call in the system and schedule patient appointments
* Resolve patient requests with high caliber of customer service
* Strive for continuous quality improvement and be willing to share your ideas
* Demonstrate a high degree of adaptability, productivity and reliability
* Meet or exceed contact center performance and productivity standards
* Demonstrate professional demeanor in appearance and behavior
* Complete the required training program including annual Safety and all required HIPAA and Compliance training
* Demonstrate clinical knowledge and technical skills
Required Job Experience and Expectations:
* High familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)
* Ability to demonstrate tact and patience with callers
* Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with minimal supervision
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to collaborate and coordinate work with other care team members
* Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people of varied racial, educational, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Current, unrestricted Washington state practical nurse (LPN) license
Minimum 2 years ambulatory healthcare experience preferred
Able to triage calls and answer healthcare questions
Computer savvy and familiar with EMR
Excellent communication skills
