Job Duties:
  • Manages a professional, efficacious, results driven HR Department that establishes clear goals, accountability standards and requires quality conduct and work product from its Team Members.
  • Manages, communicates and implements all HR policies and processes.
  • Fosters an environment of strong Customer Service
  • Actively supports a workplace culture to ensure company mission and values run deep.
  • Oversees written Team Member performance evaluations, corrective actions, workplace investigations and other employee relations matters to identify, assess and respond to employee relation problems, issues or concerns.
  • Manages and administers company compensation and health and welfare benefits programs.
  • Participates in evaluating training and development programs.
  • Provides recommendations on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for managing and administering an effective recruiting process that ensures optimal success in hiring and integrating new employees.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state Employment Laws and Regulations and keeps policies up-to-date and reflective of business needs.
  • Evaluates procedures and documentation to improve HR data management.
  • Manages and develops an HR team for maximum effectiveness and efficiency which includes recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating the HR department staff.
  • Executes management tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Manages financial resources/budgets effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned or as needed

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in business, management and/or HR preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in an HR management role.
  • Current working knowledge of all aspects of the HR body of knowledge, employment laws, regulations and HR best practices.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Ability to understand and integrate information easily.
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Compensation and Benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with HR issues in multi-state, multi-location environment.
  • Excellent and adaptable written, verbal communication and presentation skills that easily transitions various levels of formality and situation.
  • Ability to manage change with a high level of positivity and efficacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Creative, innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop, administer, evaluate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers and employees.
  • Works proactively in the planning and presentation of goals and ideas.
  • Develops strategies to address current and future challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong computer skills including: Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Working knowledge of current HRIS programs with familiarity of Ceridian DayForce a plus.
