Our Client, an Eastside private K - 8 school, is looking for an experienced Sr. Administrative Assistant to join their team! In this position, you will be reporting to the Controller while helping support Risk Management, School Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Employee Payroll and Benefits, Records Management, and School Transportation programs. And be the " go to" for teachers and staff to ensure the kids have a great school experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a Non-Profit or education setting, have great attention to detail and ability to prioritize work, truly enjoy being around children, have the drive to contribute and make a difference! This could be the perfect year around job for anyone who is looking for work / family balance and a wonderful way for a parent to use their 5 WEEKS of annual vacation to be home when your kids are also out of school.

Pay: $23 - $24 per hour DOE
VERY competitive benefits package
Schedule: 7: 30a - 4: 00p - Monday through Friday (year around)

Job Duties:
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, parents and students at all times
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Review school event proposals and contracts to mitigate risk to staff & student safety
  • Participate in school safety committee
  • Enter payroll and benefits changes in the system
  • Assist with extracurricular and summer program
  • Assist with yearly open enrollment
  • Train staff on school records retention policies
  • Oversee morning bus routes and family enrollment
  • Coordinate transportation needs for Auxiliary programs, Field Trips, After School Activities and Community Events
  • General administrative duties as needed to support team

Job Requirements:
  • Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years previous dedicated administrative assistant experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and some PowerPoint
  • Previous work experience in non-profit or school setting highly desired
  • Creativity with a can do attitude
  • Need to be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
