Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform complex accounting functions including fiscal interpretation and financial analysis requiring full professional competency
- Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and to accurately prepare complex financial data and reports
- Interact with patient s family members as needed regarding Insurance as well as DSHS and Medicare
- Process accounts payable
- Follow up on status of insurance claims
- Purchase inpatient and outpatient supplies weekly
- Contribute to the strength of the Accounting Team and their collaborative approach
Job Details:
- Pay Rate: $35-$43 per hour
- Location: Seattle. WA
- Working Hours: 6: 00AM-3: 00PM or 7: 00AM-4: 00PM
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting is required
- 5+ years recent experience in accounting
- Extensive knowledge of financial accounting theory
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws including filing requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including V-lookup, formulas, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;with a demonstrated ability to have excellent follow-up and follow-through
- Ideal candidates will have Insurance and Medical Billing experience with emphasis on DSHS and Medicare insurances
- Certified Public Accounting license is preferred but not required
