Tier 1 Help Desk Support - Day shift

Our client, one of the Northwest' s Leading Healthcare providers, has an opening on their day shift for a Help Desk Technician to assist with handling Tier 1 phone/network/desktop support, minor triage as well as troubleshooting and escalation to Level 2 and 3 support. Candidates can expect to be on the phone for up to 6+ hours per day providing support.

Successful applicants will be very computer savvy, posses strong troubleshooting skills and have very clear and efficient communication skills.

Pay: $21 per hour
Length of Assignment: 3 months
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p

Job Duties:
  • Triage and route incoming service requests appropriately
  • Provide excellent customer service while dealing with callers
  • Maintain and support personal computers, servers, local and wide area network, software and data communications company wide
  • Minimize downtime and system outages
  • Assist with Help Desk administration duties as needed
  • Assist with hardware and software installations as needed

Job Requirements:
  • Help desk experience
  • Comfortable handling 60+ calls per day
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • MS Active Directory and Desktop operating systems knowledge
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
